Ruben "Alex" Vasquez

Ruben Alex passed away peacefully on January 18th at the age of 69. He was born on July 21, 1956. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Elodia Ramirez, four siblings, a large tight knit family, and a countless number of friends.

Ruben Alex was a beloved teacher who devoted his life to teaching and mentoring others, both professionally and personally. His compassion, strength, and selflessness were felt by all who knew him. No matter how busy life became, Ruben Alex always put his family and friends first.

Ruben was the heart of his ever growing circle of family and friends.  From Christmas to summer vacation, birthdays and graduations,  and every festive celebration in between, he was always there.  His presence made every gathering warmer, more fun, and full of love. These traditions will forever carry his memory.

Ruben Alex's love and dedication will live on in the lives he influenced and touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
